Theressa Silver is a freelance designer, teacher, and author. Her most recent book, “Knitting Wild” showcases the beauty of America’s national parks and wildlife refuges. Theressa is a biologist by training and the influence of math and science can be seen in many of her designs. When she is not knitting she likes to be outside kayaking or hiking. She lives in Milwaukie, OR with her husband, son, two cats, and a dog, all of whom occasionally participate one way or another in the knitting process.
