Pride Bunting Make Along

Make a mini Pride Pennant Flag for the shop! Completed flags can be dropped off at the shop by June 1st.

For the month of May we'll be knitting and crocheting up little triangular flags based on colors from the recognized Pride Flags. Get started at home then join us in the shop on May 14th from 6-8pm to contribute, work on our flags together and get some pattern support. We'll take care of assembling all contributions together in June and hang them with pride in the shop!

For this volunteer project, we're recommending Tin Can Knits Swatchtastic (On Ravelry) knit pattern or Crochet With Raymond's Granny Triangle (On Ravelry) but any triangular flag shape and stitch will do. Flags should be roughly 5" in size but they don't need to be uniform. Your pennant flag can be single color, multi color, solid, chevron, striped or whatever you want! We want this project to express the many voices of our Queer community.

Everyone is welcome to participate and contribute. Create a flag that you identify with personally, show support for your neighbors, friends, loved ones, or honor those that we have lost.

We’ll donate $50 for every 10 flags we receive to our current Community Contribution org, Transgender Law Center.
